I've had some of his albums for a while now but I have a new obsession with Jamie Cullum, he plays jazz music with a bit of a modern twist. He's also well known for taking popular songs and putting his own spin on them. (for example Jamie covered Rihanna's song Don't stop the Music.)

My Fave!

I had a "photoshoot" with my friend Talene today all over the city (Toronto). Talene was the winner of TDSB idol last year and is trying to pursue singing. We were taking pictures for all of her Twitter, and YouTube channel. (Check them out!)
 We bought an all day TTC pass and took pictures just about everywhere, pretty great way to spend a day if you ask me. Especially when it involves shopping stops and chocolate tarts!

As you can probably tell I like white. And I really like how it's used in this kitchen... although I think it would be more appealing if the countertops had straight edges. :)

I love love love love love this bedroom, the fruit pillows, the stick on headboard, the colour of the base of the bed, love it all!

Surfers Paradise

This is a house in Venice Beach California. It was featured in Dwell magazine a while ago and it has always been one of my favorite homes featured in the magazine. One of the owners is a hardcore surfer and I think I that's why I fell in love with it; it has that laid back surfer vibe with great bright colours throughout the house. I also think the fact that its a comfortable yet modern home makes it that more appealing to me.

West Elm

West elm is my new favorite furniture store it's a perfect mix of modern but comfy stuff. I just bought a bunch of throw pillows from them last week!

Seems to be an orange theme these days; I absolutely love this red orange lace dress and she has a new take on watch wearing, on her arm instead of her wrist! I like it!
