Dwell - Letter to the Editor!

I wrote a letter to the Editor of Dwell magazine about their beach house issue in July, and the letter was published in it's most recent issue ^ ! Check it out if you get a chance! I would attach a link but I don't think it's on the website.

Prince Edward Island

A little late but here are a few pictures from a trip I took with the fam this summer to PEI, it was a pretty amazing place!

A picturesque little waterfall trickling down a red sand dune at the edge of the ocean.

Lobster Traps! They were everywhere!

This is a photo of singing sands beach on the east side of the island. When you walked on the sand it made a high pitched squeaking noise that sounded like someone singing it was so cool!

Citrus

I love me some citrus fruit! Beautiful and Delicious!

Orla Kiely

She does everything from wallpaper to clothing!

Cute!

“Over the past week I’ve twice heard twenty-somethings wonder whether kids growing up today, kids who were practically born with iPhones in hand, will still have the capacity for wonder. Yesterday as a present for his first day of second grade I brought home an erasable gel pen for my iPhone savvy six year old. After a brief demonstration, he spontaneously hugged me, “I’ve been waiting for this pen my entire life!” I think the kids are alright.”

- Raul Gutierrez

I read this on swiss-miss today and couldn't help but smile, that guy needs to have a chat with my parentals :)
